9.30 Parish Communion

The service at 9.30 is a traditional Holy Communion Service lasting approximately 1 hour. We have an organist and we sing hymns both traditional and more modern. We follow the Anglican Lectionary.

The second service, at 11.00, is a more contemporary, and less formal, service. A variety of topics are covered each week, taken by different members of the congregation and usually there is participation by one of the homegroups. Newer songs are sung, either accompanied by a keyboard or small worship band, or video recording, but we also have time for the old faithfuls.

Refreshments

Between the 2 services we serve tea, coffee and biscuits, and enjoy a time of fellowship together.

Children

Childrens area

Our children’s work runs on the 2nd and 4th Sunday of each month for primary school–aged children. Using The Biggest Story curriculum, we help children explore the Bible as one big, wonderful story that points to Jesus. Through engaging storytelling, discussion, games, and activities, we aim to create a fun, safe, and welcoming space where children can grow in their understanding of God’s love and build lasting friendships.

Pizza Praise

Pizza Praise

Pizza Praise is a relaxed and joyful time for children and their parents to come together. We share stories about Jesus, enjoy singing, and get creative with fun crafts, before sitting down together for pizza and drinks. It’s a lovely chance for families to connect, build friendships, and feel part of our church community.

When: Every Sunday from 4:00–5:30pm, except for the first Sunday of the month. We’d love you to come along whenever you can and join us for this relaxed, family-friendly time together.

Gatherings

01 Coffee time

The first Sunday in the month we hold a Gathering,  in the hall. A light breakfast is served from 9.15am, and then the service follows at 10am cafe-style. There is a real family feel to the service and we try to involve everyone. Music is usually provided by our Music Group, and there are often table activities to get everyone thinking and chatting.

After this, at approximately 11am, there is a short spoken service of Holy Communion in the church.

You can attend either or both of these services.
