St James, Silsden

Welcome to St James Anglican Church, Silsden

Our church is a Church of England parish church for Silsden in the diocese of Bradford.  More than just a building, it is also a constantly evolving group of ordinary people following the way marked out by Jesus Christ.

We are not too holy, or too precious; we laugh a lot, sometimes we cry; we get things right, and we get things wrong. We hope that you will find a spiritual home with us.

Our Vicars, David and Susan Griffiths

A St James Scallop

A St James Scallop – Several are carved into the wood around the church

David and Susan, together with their children, Matthew, Andrew and Hannah, joined us in September 2010. Theirs is a shared ministry.

We are having a great time following their leadership and look forward to finding out what God has in store for us during the coming years.

Come and join us. We’d love to see you.
